Tony De Angelo

Anthony J. (“Tony”) De Angelo is a Graduate of Sacred Heart University, Bridgeport, CT and the Philadelphia Institute, Philadelphia, PA. He is a member of the National Deans List, and holds the E.A. (Enrolled Agent) designation from the Internal Revenue Service, conferred in 1989.

Tony is formerly the Head of the Administration Department of the Private Client Practice Group of the firm of Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance) in New York, NY, Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA. He is also formerly an Assistant Instructor in the Business Department of Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, CT. He is a noted speaker and writer on tax, tax and trust policy, and fiduciary matters. In the past, Tony has authored articles for The New York Times, The New Haven Register, The Hartford Courant, Legal Assistant Today, Tax Analyst’s “Tax Practice,” and for the Joseph Center in Chicago, IL.

In addition, Tony has a second vocation as a host and interviewer on several local cable and internet-based shows such as “Monday Night Sports Talk”, ” P.M. Coast to Coast” and “Connecticut Morning.” He also served as the tax and financial commentator for the CBS Radio Gatewave Network for the blind and disabled.

Lauren Attaway

Lauren Attaway is a tax and client relations associate at Paragon Trust, with a focus on specialized tax returns and tax/legal research. Prior to joining Paragon, she worked in investigative  reporting for a due diligence company in Manhattan.  Notable are her three years at a prominent foreclosure law firm in Chicago, where she served as a coordinator in one of their property title departments, handling training, research development, and procedure implementation.

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago. She resides in New York and covers that territory for Paragon Trust Company. In her free time, she devours novels, films and television shows with strong female characters.

Mary Ann Robinson

Mary Ann Robinson is an accounting assistant at the Paragon Trust Company. She specializes in accounting. Throughout her career, Mary Ann has worked at various banks and other financial institutions. When she’s not working, Mary Ann enjoys spending time with her family in Seymour, Connecticut.

Kathleen P. De Angelo

Kathleen P. De Angelo RN, MSN/MBA/HC, works as administrator for Paragon Trust Company and as the Elder Care Director for Total Trust Care. She is a passionate advocate for excellence in healthcare, serving for the last 20 years in leadership roles in Maine, New Hampshire and most recently in Connecticut at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. During this time she worked for patient safety initiatives, quality outcomes for patient experience and served as a facilitator for building relationships between patients, nurses and physicians. During her time at Saint Francis Hospital she worked as an advocate for patients with diabetes, tirelessly supporting improving care management of the patient while receiving care for other medical issues. During her healthcare career, Kathy developed a passion for managing the care of our aging population, then gained a heightened interest after experiencing the death of her step-father in a nursing home, vowing to make a difference in the quality of care for those who can not necessarily do so for themselves and improving the condition and affordability of long term nursing care. Kathy received her nursing degree from the University of Southern Maine and her advanced degrees from the University of Phoenix. She has five children and 5 grand-children and lives in Pomfret, CT with her husband Tony.
